I would imagine the white is just the primer but I could be wrong. I think it's going to a while until they have it connected. Your dad's right, Route 66 is a pretty big obstacle. I'm very curious to see what they come up with. There used to be a tunnel there when 66 was only two lanes. I was told that the tunnel got buried whenever they widened the road. What I don't understand is the other side of 66. There must have been soon sort of cut that graded down to get to the tunnel because right now the elevation is even with the road. They must have filled it in but when you go to the end of the buildings on Industry Drive you can still find railroad ties on the ground so the grade would have to been pretty steep.Coke Oven Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00793208285590253080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7048678732955919447.post-76525121888329713182014-05-26T00:58:06.015-04:002014-05-26T00:58:06.015-04:00Hey did you read the paper that they Dura Bond sol...Hey did you read the paper that they Dura Bond sold the Railroad to Westmoreland Heritage Trail? I also saw in export on Old Wm. Penn Hwy That the caboose was painted white. And in White Valley just before it crossed Old Wm. Penn the tracks are now gone. And now I think they are gonna do it further in Export like by Dura Bond. I hope its done soon But my Dad says they still don't know about 66Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01229335588477459683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7048678732955919447.post-57563340009348293942014-04-22T17:25:49.486-04:002014-04-22T17:25:49.486-04:00It is a nice trail.
