These are only a couple photos from the road. One of these days I'd like to get down there to explore them closer. I'm pretty sure there's another row or two behind these as well. The property is well kept and I didn't want to go walking through somebody's yard.
These are part of one of the first coke operations in Westmoreland County. Built in 1871 and amazingly still visible, though greatly deteriorated. Note the difference in the brickwork from later ovens.
